Requesting Funds

- Major Project: A "major project" is any individual request or series of related requests for Foundation funds that is of substantial cost. Generally, these requests would originate with the District and would impact a District-wide initiative or a broad range of students.
- Mini Grant: A "mini grant" is a project of lesser cost and is designed to provide teachers and staff a means to request funds that support educational enhancements beyond the core curriculum.
Project Objectives
The Oak Grove School Education Foundation's Areas of Focus include:
- Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Enrichment: Funding programs and new technology, opening up exciting cutting-edge opportunities for learning.
- The Arts and Language: Inspiring creativity and reinforcing fundamentals in the arts and language/reading/writing curriculum at Oak Grove.
- Realizing Student Potential: Bolster activities and programs which improve core academic and social skills, and give students the opportunities to be successful in life. This includes readiness, at-risk, gifted programs, as well as non-academic tools (such as communication, organization, or kids in need).
- Teacher Investment: Supporting teacher creativity and sharing of success strategies.
