Midnight Cellars - A family owned and operated winery, home to three generations of the Hartenberger Family and their small production of award-winning Paso Robles wines. The 28 acre estate is situated in the Willow Creek district, known for its strong marine influence, mountainous landscape and calcareous soils. This climate, topography and soil composition create an environment for growing quality, low-yield, sustainably farmed grapes.
Robert Biale Vinyards - A revered standard of heritage Vineyard Zinfandel and Petite Sirah in Napa Valley, the owners cherish the tradition of historic old vines (some dating to the 1880's) and prize the small quantity of concentrated and intense fruit they produce. It all started in the 1940's when 14 year-old Aldo Biale helped his mother to make ends meet by selling to other insider Napans - along with eggs and produce - some of the family's homemade Zinfandel. Over the "party line" phone system, the code words "a Black Chicken" signified a jug of bootleg wine.... and kept nosy neighbors and the southernness from finding out about Aldo's underground Zinfandel operation!
Astrolabe Wines - Named after the ship that in 1827 charted and explored the Marlborough Coast, Astrolabe is a personal project for winemaker Simon Waghorn and his wife, Jane. Astrolabe produces a wide range of wines that express the purity and intensity of fruit flavors naturally afforded by the climate and soils of the Marlborough region. All grapes are sources from unique Malborough sites, carefully chosen to add complexity and completeness in the wines.
Bodegas Paso Robles - Dedicated to producing wines using Spanish and Portuguese varietals, Bodegas Paso Robles takes old world vines and makes new world wines of the highest quality with the least invasive winemaking practices. The grapes, although grown in California, are native to Portugal and Spain and have been used for centuries in Iberian winemaking.
Close des Lunes - Above and beyond the unique quality of the terrain, Clos des Lunes success is owed to the same winemaking philosophy as Domaine de Chavalier. Just like Domaine de Chavalier, the grapes are handpicked with infinite care at optimum ripeness in several passes, and exclusively in the morning. Olivier Bernard likes to say, "Great wine is always made with great grapes." He is well aware that it takes a host of meticulous vineyard operations, performed at just the right time, to make a successful vintage.
Duckhorn Vineyards - Co-founded by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn in 1976, Duckhorn Vineyards has spent forty years establishing itself as one of North America's premier producers of Napa Valley wines. From its modest inaugural vintage of 800 cases of Cabernet Sauvignon and 800 cases of Merlot in 1978, to its addition Sauvignon Blanc in 1982, Duckhorn Vineyards has crafted a tradition of quality and excellence that continues today. Decoy has established a loyal following for its distinctive style, which emphasizes ready-upon-release wines that are capable of expressing their full charm and complexity in their youth. Building on this foundation, Decoy has evolved from being a single wine in the Duckhorn Vineyards family to being a renowned wine in its own right.
