Grove Gala 2008

The first Oak Grove Gala was held in March 2008 at Café Pyrenees Restaurant. The event, attended by several hundred community members, featured great food, music, and a silent auction with over 140 auction items contributed by faculty, students, and businesses in Lake County.

Thanks to you, we raised $35,000 which was allocated towards the Elementary and Junior High Learning Centers' upgrades - books, online research tools and computers for the children to use beginning in the fall of 2008.

Special Thanks to the 2008 Gala Committee Chairs: Leigh Foltz, Clare Michelotti, Kim Konigseder, Anja Valente, Shannon Schweiger, Karen Thunga, Martha Watt and the Foundation Board members, and the many volunteer parents and teachers who helped make this a great success.
