With a full return to on-site learning for 2021-22, OGSEF was proud to sponsor grants for teachers to refresh their learning spaces or enhance what they have already planned to do. The OGSEF Board of Directors awarded $6,000 in mini-grants of $250 for teachers to improve their classrooms. As part of this project, we funded a range of things including puppets for elementary story time, Apple pencils for art, small group books for reading and discussion in TAG-ELA, Scholastic News subscriptions, recording software for band and music students K-8, upgraded speech materials to aid students with articulation, 5th Grade STEM lab projects, literacy games, Spanish club materials, and high level math games for TAG-Math students!
